First Annual Student Chapter Awards
AIS is proud to announce the winners of the First Annual Student Chapter Awards. These chapters exemplify the ‘best of the best’ among 65 currently chartered student chapters, and truly personify the best practices that fulfill the mission of the AIS Student Chapters to further the goals and aspirations of IS students around the world.

Chapter of the Year
The Chapter of the Year award is the highest honor, recognizing the very best of the student chapters. The Chapter of the Year displays excellence in every way, and sets benchmarks for other chapters by creating an environment where its members can thrive and prosper in the field of IS. The winner of the Chapter of the Year award receives a $1,000 grant to put towards their continued initiatives dedicated to students in IS
2010 Chapter of the Year

Distinguished Student Chapter
The Distinguished Student Chapter award is given to those student chapters whose efforts to support their members clearly distinguish them as leaders among their peers. The Distinguished Student Chapter represents the highest standards in administration and execution of chapter activities that further the goals of its members. The winners of the Distinguished Student Chapter award each receive a $250 grant to put towards their continued initiatives dedicated to students in IS.

Outstanding Student Chapter
The Outstanding Student Chapter award is given to those student chapters whose activities and accomplishments can be considered outstanding among their peers. The winners of the Outstanding Student Chapter award each receive a $100 grant to put towards their continued initiatives dedicated to students in IS.
